Cuneiform Text Analysis

This portal was created to ease working with cuneiform transliterations. So far, it is aimed at analyzing documents created in Microsoft Word.

This section serves to analyze input provided in .docx format. For proper functionality, ensure the following:

Analyse options

Prepare for ORACC

You can use headers in your documents to correctly prepare document for ORACC. In the layout options below, select what information you give in the headings. Indicate obv./rev. first, then column number (use "col./column" before the number)

heading examples: "rev. col. I"; "col. 2", "Vs."

for obverse, you can use "obverse", "obv.", "recto", or "Vs."

for reverse, you can use "reverse", "rev.", "verso", or "Rs."

use roman or arabic numerals for column numbers.
